Return to Normal

We are sort of Zen cleaning as of the start of this week – the students are back at UNC and our seasonal Chapel Hill area clients are returning for their Fall start-up clean.  We’re getting closer to what passes for ‘normal’ around here.  As the frenetic pace of the past 3 to 4 weeks slows a bit, I enjoy reviewing our pre-school set-up schedule.  We pride ourselves on our project work performed by the “special” work guys and gals – they are really good at what they do and we let them know that.  The great thing is:  so many of our customers let them know too.  While always professional, our teams have special affection for our customers who take the time and effort to appreciate and praise our teams and their work.

Semester-ready Sororities

We “freshened-up” for 6 different sororities.  One uses us exclusively for their carpets, rugs and upholstery cleaning; others have us perform a wide variety of work, sometimes alternating over two summers for different tasks.  We do windows on both sides, steam-clean their tile floors in baths, kitchens and halls, steam-clean the girls’ mattresses, and perform general cleaning of both the dorm rooms and often, their common room areas as well.  We deep-clean  their carpets and much of their upholstery; we re-coat their polyurethane floors which will now be protected against moisture and spills as well as high traffic for another year or two.  Let’s see … that’s 40 to 50 pairs of shoes travelling through the house anywhere from 2 to 10+ times a day, plus guests and friends.  That adds up to a lot of traffic – and the hardest floor finishes available still wear down fast under that load.

Shiny and Clean? Check!

We did a similar set of cleaning tasks for a multi-building private school, helped clean up the university football locker room before practices resumed and performed carpet, upholstery and refinished large amounts of commercial vinyl tile for a local church.  So, now that all those windows and tiles are sparkling, those chairs and carpets smell fresh and clean, all those mattresses are cleaned of potential dust mites and bed bugs, our special work teams are ready to take on new tasks.

How Can We Help You?

They are ready to apply the newest technology (steam and engineered water) or traditional chemicals to give you the best clean possible.  It may be time to prepare a well-lived-in-house for sale in this challenging market.  It may be time to get a fresh view through your windows with no spider webs, bug spatters and rain residues.  It may be time to rid the carpets of their summer dirt load from the pets and school-age children.   Or maybe it’s time to pamper yourself a little and free up a couple of hours or so each week for you – instead of dusting, scrubbing bathrooms and floors —  to enjoy some quiet reading with a small child or go on a picnic or take a Sunday drive like you did before life got so crazy busy.  Put our special teams or our regular cleaning teams to work for you – with confidence and a little joy.  Grab that “a-a-ah” feeling and win a taste of freedom.  Town & Country Cleaning Services is glad to be at your service.
