Summer vacation is over and there is brisk early morning chill as we start the day. Fall is in the air! What’s your fall home to do list?
With each change of season comes a To Do List of home maintenance. Some of the newer homes proudly offer you a suggested list. Some of us always know where the list is, other’s … not so much! Then there are those that bought before the list came with the house!
You can always use a search engine to look for a list that you like but some of our favorites for a fall to do list are as follows:
- After first frost; have the windows washed. The spiders have laid their eggs and left us for the great unknown thus making fall the best time to wash away the webs!
- Most of us love summer, but our carpets become high traffic areas as our friends and family enjoy the long summer days. Now is the perfect time to spruce them up for the holidays.
- In my opinion, Better Homes & Gardens always offers a great list http://www.bhg.com/home-improvement/maintenance/weatherizing/your-homes-fall-checklist/ But there are several out there on the world wide web.
- Of course, fall generally brings a whirl wind of activity; maybe it is a good time to think about having someone come clean your house. It just might make your life a little easier…. (I know, shameless plug)
