Spring Cleaning Tips in Woman’s Day Magazine features expert Bruce Vance
Just in time for Spring Cleaning, Town & Country Cleaning Service’s President, Bruce Vance, is prominently cited in an article in Woman’s Day magazine! We knew you were good, Bruce – thrilled to see you in national publications and on the air. After nearly 25 years of experience in the business and lots of hard work, your expertise is receiving notice.
A couple of quick editorial notes – when he is quoted about the need for using appropriate amounts of cleaner, he was speaking about concentrated cleaners intended for dilution. Also he is not, as many of our House Cleaning Technician course registrants (through the Institute for Service Excellence) are already aware, a big fan of vinegar as a cleaning tool. While it is useful as a relatively strong acid, it gives off too many VOC’s to be classified as a green cleaner, despite its being ‘sourced from nature’. And finally, since our adoption of microfiber cleaning cloths, we no longer call them rags – at anywhere from $4-8 retail cost, ‘rag’ offers an outdated impression.
However, the article is well worth looking at and has better advice than many other, well-known sources. Ready your squeegees and microfibers – Aim – CLEAN!
