Tile and Grout Cleaning To Brighten Your Home

Tile is a beautiful long-lasting surface but over time plain mopping will leave a dirt build-up in the textured areas and along grout lines.

At Town & Country, we offer 2 possible techniques for you to choose from to help restore your tile and grout… dry steam and high pressure hot water extraction.

Tile and Grout Cleaning Technique #1: Dry Steam

Super-heated steam drives out soil as well as sanitizes a floor as no mopping system can do alone. This equipment is the only device labeled by the EPA as a registered disinfectant!

Tile and Grout Cleaning Technique #2: High Pressure Hot Water Extraction

High pressure hot water extraction blasts dirt out of crevices and grout lines. This technique is a 3-step process:

  1. The tile is vacuumed;
  2. A strong degreaser is sprayed onto the tile and allowed dwell time to work;
  3. A high pressure hard surface tool flushes the cleaning solutions and dirt out of the cracks, textures and grout lines and immediately extracts it leaving a clean, nearly dry floor.

Options after these steps may include a second restorative grout cleaning and or sealing of the grout.

NOTE: Because unsealed grout is porous, stains can seep deeply into it. Badly sealed grout can be vastly improved but may not return to its original new condition and appearance.

We will be happy to consult with you and to advise you about which process best fits your particular project
